Four Chinese nationals killed in Port Moresby

Prime Minister Peter O’Neill has condemned the killing of the four Chinese nationals in the National Capital District last night.

He was briefed on the killings by Police Commissioner Tom Kulunga today.

Mr O'Neill described the attack on the four Chinese nationals as brutal and cowardly.

The Prime Minister says he has been assured by the Police Commissioner that no resource will be spared to ensure that the perpetrators of this heinous crime are found and brought to face the full force of the law.

He called on the business community, especially those of Chinese and Asian origin, to remain calm and continue business as usual.

Meanwhile, Director of Institute of National Affairs Paul Barker, has also expressed disgust at the gruesome murder of the four Chinese.

He described the killings as tragic and horribly brutal through the social media, Face Book.

Mr Barker says lives of citizens, residents and visitors need to be safeguarded and treated with much more respect

Similar comments are also pouring in from the general public condemning the killings.
