PNG University students host public forum to discuss Government's USB Loan

Port Moresby: The Nastional:  A PUBLIC forum has been planned for tomorrow at the University of Papua New Guinea to discuss the State’s K3 billion loan. 
Student Representative Council president Bobby Yopi said they would invite representatives of the Government, Opposition, ousted Treasury Minister Don Polye, Oil Search group of companies, researchers from the National Research Institute, Ombudsman Commission and Bank of Papua New Guinea to participate.
“Discussing such issues openly allows for better understanding,” he said.
Yopi said people wanted “to hear from the horse’s mouth” the advantages and disadvantages of the loan.
