THE search for the driver and the vehicle involved in a hit and run incident in Seaqaqa on Saturday morning is continuing.
Police spokeswoman Ana Naisoro said they were still trying to ascertain the vehicle involved in the incident which claimed the life of a Tavilata Qaranivalu.
"For now the search continues and officers are doing everything they can to track down the vehicle," she said.
"Anyone with information that could help us locate the vehicle and the driver is requested to contact 917 or the nearest community post or station."
It was earlier reported that a man who was travelling along the Seaqaqa highway saw Mr Qaranivalu's body on the roadside.
The man called police between 1.30 and 2.45am.
