Miss Cook Islands set to represent her country

Teuira Napa  from the Cook Islands will  represent her country during the  Miss South Pacific Pageant to be held in Honiara next week.

She is the Youngest of all the contestants and has arrived in Honiara along with h the reigning Miss South Pacific, Miss Samoa Janine Tuivaiti.

Miss American Samoa Eleitino Tuiasosopo, 23, also arrived yesterday.

The girls were greeted by authorities in Honiara.

She said she is so excited to join the pageant and to meet the other contestants.

“I bring with me my country and my love dance, the Cook islands dance for this pageant show,” she said.

She told reporters in Honiara that she was excited about the event and to represent her country.

I look forward to this pageant event, to learn more about Solomons and I hope this pageant will be fun and exciting for all the girls,”

Ms Napa attended Brigham Young University in Hawaii, studing hospitality and tourism and this is her first year.

She was accompanied by her chaperon Gina Williams, her younger sister, and mother.
