Three killed as rival clans clash in Papua New Guinea

 THREE men were killed at Henganofi, Eastern Highlands of Papua New Guinea, last Saturday, police said.
Provincial police Commander Superintendent John Kale yesterday confirmed the death of the three men, who lived next to the Henganofi Bridge on the Highlands Highway.
Kale said the attackers were members of a rival clan who they fought and chased some years ago and occupied their land.
He said the men were armed with guns and knives retaliated in a surprise move and killed them. “I immediately deployed a section of police taskforce to the area, who are maintaining order in Henganofi,” he said. “The highway is free and movement of traffic is not affected.”. The National
