A man accused of sexually abusing a five-year-old girl at Henderson in the Solomon Islands this year is yet to enter his pleas to the charges laid against him.
The case will return to court on June 4 in order for the prosecution to make amendments to particulars of the charges.
The accused who cannot be named to protect the identity of the victim was supposed to enter his plea to the charge of resisting police arrest and five additional charges of indecent assault, but there were no specific dates on the particulars of the charge.
Principal Magistrate Ricky Iomea therefore adjourned the matter for prosecution to amend the particulars of the charge.
He then further remanded the accused in custody.
The accused is facing those charges in relation to alleged incidents that occurred this year at Henderson involving the five year-old girl.
