Tomasi Yabakiono was convicted for one count of rape and three counts of indecently annoying a person.
The court was told that Yabakiono was posted as officer-in-charge of the Taveuni Police Station in 2013 to regularize matters after numerous complaints were received against the Police and their service.
Justice Paul Madigan said the evidence against Yabakiono suggests that under his control, he added a further dimension to the problems, a climate of sexual harassment.
The Court was told that Yabakiono told a junior female Police Officer to have an affair before he raped her.
Yabakiono was also convicted for indecently annoying two more junior female Police Officers.
In mitigation, Yabakiono told the Court that he has been a Police Officer for the last 21 years and has also received a Commendation Medal for Long Service in the Force.
