A notorious prison escapee in Jiwaka province has been killed and his body burnt.
Its alleged that two other people suffered the same manner of killing.
Police Station Commander in Minj, Orim Piamia confirmed the killing of the escapee but did not state those responsible.
Meantime, a man is dead in another election-related killing in Jiwaka.
Its alleged the deceased, identified as 30-year old John Siwi Topo was assaulted and kicked in the head by supporters of a North Waghi presidential candidate.
He was treated at Kudjip Nazarene Hospital for severe brain damage but later died soon after being discharged.
